Focus Techouse Engineering, China, celebrates 10 years and moves into new office!

 

Focus Techouse Engineering’s branch office “Danor” in Qingdao, China are celebrating their 10 years anniversary in 2020 and at the same time moving into a new and larger office space. “Due to increased activity we could simply not fit in the old office anymore”, says Jens A. Apland, the CEO/Operation Manager of Focus Techouse Engineering, Qingdao.

10 years of growth!

“We started with 4 persons in July 2010 and now count a number of 50+ staff members in 2020. In 10 years, we have moved 6 times – all due to the need for larger office space” states Mr. Apland.

 

Welcome to Focus Techouse Engineering (former Focus Engieering), Qingdao!

 

It has been a fun and fast-growing period. We appreciate the effort from all our staff – many who are still here after 10 years – we could not have done this without them. Also, our daily communication and cooperation with our office in Norway and sister company in Vietnam (Focus Construction) are important contributors to our growth and success. Being part of Focus Group also gives us the stability to keep moving forward.

The event was celebrated with a BBQ party where Mr Apland invited and served the staff himself. He says: “I wanted to show respect to my staff. Also, in Norway, when inviting to a BBQ party we do the cooking ourselves.” (The staff was highly impressed!)

Our new office is in Qingdao Animation Industrial Park (Q-park) in beautiful natural surroundings beneath the Fushan mountain. The site has 5 buildings with more than 200 companies and 2.500 people who come in every day. The area has a mini shop, a canteen, and a restaurant. There are recreational facilities like football and basketball – a good way to get more energy after a long day at the office!

The staff really enjoy coming to work here. One of the most appreciated benefits are the easy access with bus or car and parking facilities as well as modern and spacious offices.
